Trim the Stems: Before placing your bouquet in a vase, trim 1–2 cm (about half an inch) off the bottom of the stems at a 45-degree angle. This expands the surface area for maximum water absorption.
Keep Water Deep: Ensure the vase is filled with enough clean water so that at least 50% of the stem length is submerged.
Change Water Daily: Replace with fresh, cold water every single day.
Re-trim Regularly: Each time you change the water, snip a tiny bit off the bottom of the stems. This prevents the ends from sealing over and keeps the water flowing.
Ideal Environment: Display your flowers in a cool spot away from direct sunlight, heating vents, and air conditioners.
